We are currently seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk...
...for our Calgary location. Our hours of work are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a one hour lunch break. The wage range is $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, along with a group benefit package. The starting wage offered will depend upon your experience and relevant education.
Your duties:
Accounts Payable: payables cheque runs and filing documents
Accounts Receivable: submitting invoices electronically to customers online, processing customer credit applications, generating and finalizing weekly and monthly reports, processing credit card transactions and replenishing petty cash. You will also provide reception relief by answering phones and forwarding calls appropriately when required.
Government Remittances: PST and GST
Your qualifications:
Alamo will provide you with full training in our policies and procedures; however, you will possess either bookkeeping or accounting education or at least five years of experience doing similar work. Your knowledge of MS Word and Excel will be an advanced level. You must have recent experience working on QuickBooks. A confident and pleasant telephone manner along with excellent verbal and written communication skills are key.
